Communication Studies involves the study of messages. We are concerned with how people interact in interpersonal, group, organizational, and public speaking contexts.
The exciting and dynamic area of mass communication attracts students who wish to become media professionals working for radio and television stations, newspapers, magazines, and web-based media outlets.
Public relations involves effective management of an organization’s relationships with various publics, such as employees, community, investors, consumers/customers, the media, etc. Graduates in public relations are expected to contribute to the strategic decision-making and policy-making of organizations.
