More than 2,800 students were eligible to participate in the undergraduate commencement ceremony held December 13, 2009, which combined graduates from the summer and fall terms. On December 11, students receiving advanced degrees were recognized in a graduate hooding ceremony. There were 517 receiving master’s degrees and 68 receiving doctorate degrees.
