2007 Commencement Ceremonies

This spring, due to renovations to the Thompson-Boling Assembly Center and Arena, the University of Tennessee will not be hosting a university-wide graduation ceremony. Instead, each academic college will hold its own ceremony on May 9, 10, or 11.

To honor spring graduates and provide them with a meaningful and memorable conclusion to their UT experience, the University will be hosting a one-time-only Kickoff to Commencement outdoor celebration. The Kickoff ceremony will begin at the Torchbearer with the Aloha Oe candlelight ceremony for graduating seniors, and will continue on the Pedestrian Mall with a live performance by UT alumnus and country music artist Deana Carter.
