ArcGIS Desktop is powerful software that allows users to create, edit, analyze, and visualize their data in order to make better decisions, faster. This workshop will introduce you to GIS and ArcGIS Desktop. A series of realistic exercises will help you learn the basics of ArcGIS: exploring ArcMap and ArcCatalog, symbolizing features and rasters, classifying features and ras-ters, labeling features, querying data, and joining and relating tables.
