'8': The Fight for Marriage Equality
Watch a cast of students and faculty at UT, actors and non-actors alike, make the case for marriage equality.
The Commission for LGBT People in partnership with the UT Theatre Department, the Central Program Council's Issues Committee, and UT's Chapter of Amnesty International presents a FREE staged reading of "8".
This new documentary play by Dustin Lance Black chronicles the trial surrounding Proposition 8, the California measure that struck down gay marriage in 2008.
Following the performance, join the cast and local marriage equality advocates for a Q&A to learn more about one of the most important civil rights battles of our generation and how to get involved in Tennessee.
