Dr. Temple Grandin and Dr. Hal Herzog: Public Talk and Booksigning


Dr. Temple Grandin, author of New York Times best seller, Animals in Translation, as well as, Improving Animal Welfare: A Practical Approach, and Animals Make Us Human and Dr. Hal Herzog, author of Some We Love, Some We Hate, Some We Eat: Why It's So Hard to Think Straight About Animals, are keynote speakers at the International Veterinary Social Work Summit held in Knoxville.

The talk is free and open to the public on a first come, first served basis, and will be held at the Knoxville Convention Center Thursday, April 11.  A booksigning (a limited number of books available for sale, and fans may bring their own copies) will be held from 6:30pm- 6:50pm. The presentations are from 7pm-9pm and will be followed by another booksigning from 9pm-9:30pm.

The public talk, as well as the three day summit is sponsored by the UT College of Veterinary Medicine and the UT College of Veterinary Social Work.
