Taste of Ghana

As part of this year's Ghana's independence day celebration, the Ghanaian Diaspora Students Association at UT in collaboration with UT Student Activities, Central Program Council, and Cultural Attractions Committee will bring "Taste of Ghana" to our campus for the first time.

On Thursday March 27, GDSA, CPC and CAC will host "Taste of Ghana." The event will include a cultural drumming group, Khan Unity Drummers, They will play and dance to traditional Adowa themes. We will also have Traditional Ghanaian food for everyone to try. 

Come have a "Taste of Ghana" and also learn about the different indigenious Ghanaian Cultures of the Akans, Dogomba's, Ga's, and Ewe's that make up the country known as Ghana and our roles in the history of the world.
