The OUTstanding LGBTQ+ Conference is a yearly conference to explore issues within the LGBTQ community. This year's fourth annual conference will explore the topic of the LGBTQ+ Mind, Body, and Soul, which includes issues of mental health, sexual health, physical wellness, spirituality, and the arts.
The conference will include a spoken-word performance by Sonya Renee, author of "The Body is Not an Apology", and a presentation by Cameron Mack, a bipolar trans man and college student. Along with these guest presentations, members of the University of Tennessee will conduct workshops about a variety of topics. Free lunch and t-shirts will be provided.
The conference will be held at the Carolyn P. Brown University Center on November 8th from 9am to 5pm. For free attendance, please pre-register at our website.
