Reading by UT Student Writers


Writers in the Library invites you to hear outstanding UT student writers Andrew McNeil Hamilton, Marissa Landis, Rachael MacLean, and Taria Person reading from their works. The reading is at 7 p.m., Friday, September 21, in UT's Hodges Library auditorium. Musical artist RB Morris will provide entertainment.

Andrew McNeil Hamilton won the university's prestigious Woodruff Award in 2012, excelling in poetry and fiction.

Marissa Landis is a senior enrolled in UT's College Scholars Program. Her individualized program combines art history, studio art and English.

Rachael MacLean has extensive theater background and has performed with the Children's Theater of Knoxville. She is a UT freshman in the Chancellor's Honors Program.

Taria Person was the winner of a recent open-mic poetry slam at UT's Mahogany Soul Café.
