Medal of Honor Recipient Shares Story
Col. Bruce Crandall flew 900 combat missions in Vietnam and helped evacuate many wounded troopers before he was severely wounded himself. He received the Congressional Medal of Honor, America's highest military decoration, on Feb. 26, 2007.
Crandall will share his heroic story with UT's students, faculty and staff as a prelude to the 2014 Congressional Medal of honor Convention, which will be held in Knoxville.
