FACING AIDS for World AIDS Day
FACING AIDS for WORLD AIDS Day December 1, 2012
It has been more than 30 years since the first cases of AIDS were reported in the U. S. HIV is still a reality for more than a million Americans. Nearly one of every five people living with HIV in the U.S doesn't know it.
Join the 2012 FACING of AIDS initiative, share photos and messages on the FACING AIDS Photo Gallery. Through FACING AIDS, the UT Community can help reduce stigma and promote HIV testing by putting a face to AIDS for WORLD AIDS DAY December 1 and beyond.
The S.E.E Center will give the UT Community the opportunity to write why they are facing AIDS, snap a picture of them holding the sign, and share the photo with the FACING AIDS photo gallery on facing.AIDS.gov. For more information contact Rosa Thomas at 865-974-5725.
This event will take place on Friday November 30th from 12-3 on the Pedestrian Walkway.
