Civil War Lecture Series: The First Heavy Artillery US Colored Troops

The third annual Frank H. McClung Museum Civil War Lecture Series ends with this month's lecture: "The First Heavy Artillery US Colored Troops". This series is held in the McClung Museum auditorium and led by Civil War Curator, Dr. Joan Markel, who will explore the places and people of the Civil War in Knoxville.
All lectures are free and open to the public.
The museum is located at 1327 Circle Park Drive. On weekends, parking is available on Circle Park and adjacent parking lots.
The museum's exhibits include archaeology, ancient Egypt, decorative arts, the battle of Fort Sanders, geology, and fossils. Admission is free.
