Seminar by Dr. Karin Dahmen
Dr. Karin Dahmen, an associate professor of physics at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, will give a seminar at 12:40 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, in Room 612 of the Dougherty Engineering Building. Her topic is "A Simple Model for Plastic Deformation and the Statistics of Serrations in Stress versus Strain Curves." The talk is presented by the Department of Materials Science and Engineering.
