Fields Medalist Sir Vaughan Jones to Speak
| The Department of Mathematics will host Sir Vaughan Jones of Vanderbilt University to deliver a Distinguished Lecture in Mathematics on Thursday, February 28. Professor Jones is a recipient of the Fields Medal, generally considered to be the equivalent of a Nobel Prize in the field of Mathmatics. The talk, which is mainly intended for mathematics experts, will be at 3:35 pm in Ayres Hall 405. |
