Tom Brokaw: The Baker Distinguished Lecture Series
Special Correspondent for NBC News, author, and media game-changer, Tom Brokaw will speak in the University Center Auditorium on November 13, 1:30 – 2:30 pm. Brokaw headlines the second year of the BDLS which honors notable individuals who exemplify the values of Sen. Howard H. Baker, Jr. Previous honorees were Sen. George Mitchell and Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan. The event is free and open to the public. Reservations will be accepted below, but seats will only be held until 10 minutes before the event.
Prior to his lecture, a fundraising luncheon to support the Baker Distinguished Lecture Series (BDLS) will be held in the Toyota Auditorium of the Howard Baker Center, from 11:30 am – 1 pm, with special guests, Mr. Brokaw and Senators Howard Baker and Nancy Kassebaum (Baker).
