The Diversity Dialogues are a series of conversations led by faculty, staff, facilitator, or a panel who have expertise in the topic. The purpose of these events is to provide a safe space for students and the UT community to discuss critical topics in regards to race, culture, gender, stereotypes, multiple identities, diversity and multiculturalism in our community and the around the world. The Diversity Dialogues are a great way for students to learn more about themselves and other people and will take place on the first Tuesday of every month. These dialogues will cover a wide range of topics. Sample topics include: Bi-Racial and Multi-Racial Students and Individuals, Stereotypes and Media Representation affecting Cultural Relations, LGBTQ and the Church, Assimilation of Minority Groups in America, Living Between Cultures, and Whiteness and White Privilege, Interception of Identities.
