Movie Screening of Ostrov (The Island)
Thursday, September 19th, the Russian Language Association will be screening Ostrov (The Island) in Hodges Library room 253 at 6pm with English subtitles. The movie takes place in northern Russia in a small Russian Orthodox Church. The action centers around a strange monk that lives on the small island that people believe has the power to heal, exorcise demons and foretell the future.
