Lecture: Cultural Interaction (and Reaction) in the Courtly Art of the Hellenistic World, Dr. Kristen Seaman
The East Tennessee Society of the Archaeological Institute of America (AIA) and the McClung Museum present Dr. Kristen Seaman of Kennesaw State University, Georgia lecturing on "Cultural Interaction (and Reaction) in the Courtly Art of the Hellenistic World."
Seaman is the Haines-Morris Lecturer in the Department of Classics at Kennesaw State. She specializes in Classical Art and Archaeology, with secondary interests in Near Eastern and Islamic art and archaeology. Her research explores Greek visual culture and its interaction with the Roman, Near Eastern, and Islamic worlds.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
