Vice Chancellor for Student Life Candidate Forum
Daniel Pugh, the second of four candidates for vice chancellor for student life, will visit campus next week and will participate in a public forum on Monday, September 30.
Pugh is the vice provost for student affairs and dean of students at the University of Arkansas. Prior to that he was associate vice chancellor for student affairs/dean of students for four years at the University of Arkansas. He also has held leadership positions at Eastern Washington University, the University of Georgia, and Virginia Tech.
He has a doctorate in higher education from the University of Georgia and a master's degree in education and bachelor's degree in advertising, both from UT Knoxville.
