Luzene Hill will present and discuss her work October 22 in room 113 of the Art and Architecture Building.
The presentation begins at 7:30pm and admission is free. Hill is an artist from the Southeast whose work involves drawing, painting, sculpture and installation.
About her work, Hill writes, "The issues I address, loss of Native American language and culture, violence against women, exemplify vulnerabilities that are both societal and personal. The fragile, capricious materials I employ – paper, silk, ink, charcoal, beeswax – reflect my view of life as fleeting and ephemeral."
