3rd Annual National Day of Remembrance and Roll Call

Join the Task Force in Support of Student Veterans  for the 3rd Annual National Day of Remembrance and Roll Call at the University of Tennessee.

On Monday, November 11th, the Roll Call will begin at 0700 (7 A.M.) and run until 1700 (5 P.M.) on the South Lawn of Ayres Hall. Volunteers will read throughout the day the names of the OIF/OEF who have given the greatest sacrifice in service to their country since 9/11.

From 1345 (1:45)- 1400 (2:00pm) there will be a brief presentation and the observance of the national moment of silence.

We will also be incorporating a Flag Garden on the South Lawn as a visual acknowledgement of all veterans who are serving or have served in our military. We invite you to reserve your flags in honor or memorial for the garden.

To reserve your flags, please contact Laura Bryant at lbryant7@utk.edu or at 974-5725.

Please note that extra flags will be available at the event, so requesting flags in advance is not required.
