CURENT Seminar at Min H. Kao Building

CURENT invites industry leaders and academic experts to present in the center's seminar series at the University of Tennessee on the last Friday of each month. Seminars cover a variety of topics related to the ongoing research and technical development of the nation's power grid.

This month's guest speaker is Dr. Leon Tolbert, the Min H. Kao Professor and Head in the Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dr. Tolbert will discuss utility applications of multilevel power converters.

The seminar is free and open to the public.
