TITLE: "Grad-Div based Preconditioning for Incompressible Flow Problems"
ABSTRACT: Grad-Div stabilization can be exploited in a preconditioner for Oseen type problems, that arise when solving incompressible Navier Stokes equations. It turns out that it behaves similar to the classical augmented Lagrangian approach, but with the advantage of being able to easily construct the system matrix efficiently. This simplifies the construction of inner preconditioners. I will discuss the difficulty of the trade-off between solution accuracy and solver efficiency and will present numerical results to demonstrate the robustness preconditioner.
