Governor's Chair Presentation with Philip Enquist


The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, College of Architecture and Design invites you to a presentation, Friday, December 13 at 3:00 p.m. in McCarty Auditorium of the UT Art + Architecture Building.

Philip Enquist, FAIA, partner-in-charge of urban design for Skidmore Owings and Merrill, Chicago, will make a presentation of his work. This is part of the vetting process for a Governor's Chair forHigh Performance Energy Practices in Urban Environments. Enquist and SOM Chicago are internationally recognized innovators in new models of urban development, with active projects dotting the globe. Read Enquist's bio.

The Governor's Chair is a joint appointment between UT and the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. The new Governor's Chair will extend beyond an individual; the appointment will include both a leader and a research team. Together they will embark toward new energy practices in urban environments.
