Civil Rights Today: The Evolution of Activism


A dynamic panel-discussion in honor and remembrance of Dr. Martin Luther King is taking place on January 21, 2014 at Noon in UT Law School Room 132.

Panelists for the discussion are:

Gordon Bonnyman, Co-Founder & Former Executive Director, Tennessee Justice Center;
Avon Rollins, Former Director, Beck Cultural Exchange Center;
Cassie Watters, Union Organizer, United Campus Workers (UCW);
Estefania Chavez, Third-year Law Student (3L), UT College of Law.

UT Commission for Blacks (CFB) and UT College of Law Committee on Community are co-sponsoring the event. Pizza will be served following the discussion.
