36th Annual College of Communication and Information Research Symposium

The theme for the 36th Annual Research Symposium is "Communication and Information Research in a Global Environment." The day long symposium in include poster sessions, paper presentations and a keynote address. The complete program can be viewed at www.cci.utk.edu/research/symposium.

The keynote address will be presented by Professor Bella Mody, James E. deCastro chair in Global Media in the Journalism and Mass Communication program at the University of Colorado, Boulder.  Her speech is titled, "Mao in India: Comparing Representations in India's Thriving Regional, Hindi and English Language Dailies."
