Appalachian Spring 2014 is the 12th annual fundraising event for the Retail, Hospitality and Tourism Management departmetns. This year the even is held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Knoxville. The fundraiser is now fully incorporated into hospitality and retail courses and is an important experiential learning opportunity for the students. All of these proceeds go directly to supporting the student experiences in our programs, such as field trips, study tours, internships, industry shows and leadership training.
Tickets cost $150 per person and include a gourmet dinner inspired by Tennessee locally grown products with wine and beer pairings as well as a silent auction. We will showcase and celebrate the resources, creativity, and entrepreneurship for the students. Tickets for the dinner and auction will be available through March 17, 2014 and can be ordered by contacting Ann Fairhust.
