An Evening of Violin and Harp

Dr. Miroslav Hristov, Assistant UT Professor of Violin, and KSO Principal Harpist Cindy Hicks will perform an evening of violin and harp music on Thursday, March 27 at 8:00 p.m.

The concert will be held at the Natalie L. Haslam Music Center located at 1741 Volunteer Blvd. on the University of Tennessee campus. 

Works to be performed will include Sonata in C minor by Louis Spohr, Fantasie by Camille Saint-Saens, and a new, monumental sonata written in 1998 by Ukrainian composer Valeri Kikta. (View concert program)

The event is free and open to the public. Parking is available behind the Music Center (Attendees are advised to leave a note on their windshield:  "attending concert").

The Hristov-Hicks concert is a pre-festival event for the annual UT Violin Festival which will take place Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 28-30 on campus.
