Leticia Bajuyo: Artist's Presentation at Art and Architecture Building Room 105

Friday, 04 April, 2014

When designing and creating, sculptor and educator Leticia Bajuyo's approach to technique has a do-it-yourself, problem-solving attitude that is guided by concept and yields combinations such as 8,000 donated CD's and Theremins or player piano rolls and typewriters.

Whether the artwork is small or large, indoor or outdoor, permanent or ephemeral; her studio practice combines interdisciplinary influences of past and present technology, questions of human nature, theories on capitalism, and perceptions of perception.
