Orange and White Game Volunteering

We are seeking volunteers for the Orange and White (and GREEN) game on April 12, 2014. UT Athletics is working in partnership with UT Recycling, Aaramark, and Good Sports Always Recycle to turn Neyland Stadium into a Zero Waste facility by the 2015 season. Last season, UT Recycling diverted 146,512 pounds of recyclables and compost from the landfill, but there is still a lot to be recovered and we would like your help.

During the Orange and White game, the Green Team (student volunteers, UT Recycling staff, and UT Sustainability staff) will be positioned at several Zero Waste stations throughout Neyland Stadium. Each station will have a compost bin, a trash can, and one of our BRAND NEW orange and white recycling bins. The Green Team will engage with and educate the fans about how to properly separate their waste, recyclables and compost into the respective bins.

Come out and help us keep Neyland beautiful!
