As of Nov. 1, all floors of the Hodges Library will remain open until the early hours of the morning, Sunday through Thursday. Ground through 6th floors now will be open until 3 a.m. After 3 a.m., students may continue working in the Commons (2nd floor), which remains open 24 hours, from noon Sunday until midnight Friday. The new early morning hours will be in effect during the academic year whenever classes are in session.

The Medieval Studies Club will be screening the film "The Name of the Rose," 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, in 252 Hodges Library. The movie is based on the novel by Umberto Eco and starts Sean Connery and a teenaged Christian Slater as monks called upon to solve a murder mystery in a medieval abbey. This week is Diabetes Awareness Week, and the Diabetes Advisory Board, an organization for students who may have diabetes, family members with diabetes or students majoring in health care who want to learn more about the disease, is selling orange bracelets on campus. Relay for Life dodgeball tournament, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 14, in the TRECS Bubble. Each team will consist of six players. The entry fee will be $10 per player and includes a free t-shirt.
