Social Work Conferences On Violence Set
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — An international dialogue on the roots of violence and possible solutions is the aim of two national videoconferences for social workers. They will be aired at Hodges Library, Room 211, on the University of Tennessee-Knoxville campus.
Charles Kuralt will moderate the interactive satellite programs to be shown at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6, and Friday, Feb. 9.
The program will include live phone discussion between North American social workers and others worldwide who are struggling with the same issues.
The events are free and open to the public, but advance reservations are necessary as seating is limited. Call Clevonne Turner or Karan Bailey at (423) 974-6015. Participants may attend one or both videoconferences.
