KNOXVILLE, Tenn.– The effect of interstate banking on Tennessee will be the topic of a May 1 seminar sponsored by the University of Tennessee.

Bill C. Houston, commissioner of financial institutions for the state, will speak at the 7:30 a.m. session at Club LeConte. The program is sponsored by UT-Knoxville’s Financial Institutions Center in the College of Business Administration.
