UT-ORNL Journal Wins International Award

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A University of Tennessee-Oak Ridge National Laboratory magazine about economic, energy and environmental issues continues to receive international accolades.

Dr. Danny Schaffer, editor of Forum for Applied Research and Public Policy, said the journal has won its fourth award of excellence in five years from the Society for Technical Communication.

The society consists of 20,000 members internationally in the field of technical and scientific research communications.

Forum will be recognized at the society’s annual conference in Seattle, Wash., in May.
