UT Professor Honored By Colleagues On Taiwan

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Chinese National Academy of Sciences and Humanities on Taiwan has elected to membership Dr. Yen-ping Hao, a University of Tennessee-Knoxville history professor.

Hao is UT’s Lindsey Young professor of history.

The academy has 18 research institutes and 181 members, including four Nobel laureates.
