UT Professor Named Head Of State Veterinary Association

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Dr. John Henton, associate professor of large animal clinical sciences in the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, has been named president of the Tennessee Veterinary Medical Association.

Henton was elected to a one-year term at the association’s annual meeting.

Henton has been on the UT faculty since 1978. In addition to teaching, he is coordinator of continuing education and veterinary alumni programs.
