UT’s Kallet To Read Poetry (85)

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Craving chocolate and poetry?

Love poems and chocolates will be “served” at a pre-Valentine’s Day poetry reading at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at the Laurel Theatre.

Dr. Marilyn Kallet, director of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville’s Creative Writing Program and author of seven books, will read exerpts from some of her works, including “How To Get Heat Without Fire.”

The UT Creative Writing Program and the Knoxville Writers’ Guild are sponsors of the program. A $1 donation will go to Jubliee Community Arts.
