UT-Produced CD-ROM Earns Award (87)
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee Center for Telecommunications and Video recently placed in the finals of a national multimedia competition to earn a Bronze Telly Award.
UT-CTV Executive Director Ken Burton said the award was for a CD-ROM project titled “Tennessee Wilds and the Multimedia Quest.”
The Telly Awards were founded in 1980 to recognize outstanding non-network and cable commercials. In recent years, competition categories have been expanded to include non-network film, video and television-multimedia productions.
”Tennnessee Wilds” was the first CD-ROM produced by the center, Burton said.
