KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A Lincoln County student is the recent recipient of a scholarship from the University of Tennessee National Alumni Association.

 Andrea C. Askins, 112 Chadwick Farms Lane, Fayetteville, earned a $1,500 valedictorian scholarship at UT-Knoxville for her accomplishment at Lincoln County High School.

 She is the daughter of William R. Askins Jr.
