UT-Knoxville Professor Earns Social Work Award (80)
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The awards committee of the Society for Social Work and Research has honored an associate professor in the University of Tennessee-Knoxville College of Social Work.
Dr. William Nugent earned the committee’s honorable mention award for his article, “Evaluating the effects of victim-offender reconciliation program on reoffense,” printed in the publication “Research on Social Work Practice.”
Nugent is scheduled to receive the award Jan. 24 in a presentation at the International Conference on Research for Social Practice in North Miami, Fla.
