Johnson City Student Earns Top Grad Honors (85)
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Leah Gardner of Johnson City has earned top graduate honors among students scheduled to participate in commencement exercises Dec. 20 at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville.
Gardner, the daughter of Dean and Margaret Gardner, Johnson City, is top graduate in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
Top graduates have the highest grade point averages (GPA) in their respective colleges. The minimum GPA to be a top grad is a 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.
Gardner majored in ornamental horticulture and landscape design.
