KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The University of Tennessee will offer four continuing education workshops here this fall for East Tennessee social workers.

Topics for the UT-Knoxville College of Social Work workshops are:

Grant writing, Sept. 18, United Way office, 1301 Hannah Ave. Participants can choose a morning or afternoon session.

Advanced mediation training, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Oct. 14, United Way office.

Aggression replacement training, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Oct. 28, United Way office.

Advances in substance abuse treatment, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Oct. 31, 321 UT Communications Bldg.

A homecoming symposium, co-sponsored by the East Tennessee chapter of the Autism Society of America, will be held Nov. 6 at the University Center.

Information on workshop costs and registration is available by calling the college’s research and public service office, 423-974-6015.
