UT Offering Seminar on Human Capital
CLEVELAND — A workshop on human performance, an issue executives are calling one of the workplace’s biggest challenges, has been scheduled here Jan. 17.
The session, co-sponsored by Quality Council of the Cleveland-Bradley Chamber of Commerce and the Chattanooga Section of the American Society for Quality, is set for 7:30 a.m. at the Cleveland State Community Services Building.
Bill Stetar, of the University of Tennessee Center for Industrial Services, will speak. Cost of the breakfast buffet will be $15. Reservations can be made through Jan. 12 by calling Kathy Eaves at 472-0126.
Stetar, who is with the CIS Tennessee Manufacturing Extension Program, said people, or human capital, are a company’s most important asset. He said his presentation will focus on how to improve performance and reduce downtime and costs in both public and private organizations.
