UT Trustees, Presidential Search Committee Meet Aug. 3
The University of Tennessee Board of Trustees and the UT Presidential Search Committee will meet Aug. 3 at the State Capitol in Nashville.
The Presidential Search Committee will appoint an Advisory Council of faculty, students, staff, alumni and others to assist the Search Committee.
The purpose of the board meeting is to extend the appointment of acting president Emerson H. Fly. The Board also will receive a report from the Presidential Search Committee.
Meetings schedules are as follows:
10:30-11 a.m. — UT Presidential Search Committee meeting, Executive Conference Room, Ground Floor.
11-11:30 a.m. — UT Board of Trustees meeting, Executive Conference Room.
11:30 a.m.-noon — UT Presidential Search Advisory Council Inaugural Meeting, Executive Conference Room.
1:30 p.m.-4 p.m. — UT Presidential Search Committee interviews with search firms Spencer Stuart, Witt-Kieffer and Korn-Ferry International, Governor’s Conference Room.
