KNOXVILLE — The University of Tennessee Board of Trustees has scheduled its annual meeting for June 19 in Memphis.

The meeting of the full board is scheduled for 2 p.m. CDT, Thursday, at the Peabody Hotel. Meetings of three board committees will be held Wednesday afternoon, June 18.

Among items on the board’s agenda are approval of the 2004 university budget, setting tuition and fees, administrative reorganization, and the report of UT President John W. Shumaker.

Wednesday’s board committee meetings also will be held at the Peabody Hotel. The schedule is: Academic Programs and Planning Committee, 12:30 p.m.; Finance Committee, 2 p.m.; Executive Committee, 4 p.m.

An orientation session for trustees is set for 8 a.m., Thursday, at the Peabody. A presentation at the Health Science Center will follow at 11 a.m.
