“Kronos Quartet is an innovative, classically trained eclectic group. It is an honor to have them on campus,” said Ron Laffitte, director of student activities.
Kronos Quartet specializes in modernizing classical music, Laffitte said. The Grammy-nominated group performs more than 100 concerts a year and has won numerous national and international awards.
The quartet consists of four performers, David Harrington and John Sherba on violin, Hank Dutt on the viola and Jennifer Culp on the cello.
Concert admission is $5 for students, $15 for faculty and staff and $20 for general admission. Tickets may be purchased from Tickets Unlimited or the UT Central Ticket Office, located on the first floor of the University Center.
