UT To Hold Environmental Semester Photo Contest
The University of Tennessee is holding a photo contest this spring as part of UT’s Environmental Semester.
The contest, “Picturing Energy, Earth and the Environment,” is sponsored by the Howard Baker Center for Public Policy, the College of Communication and Information, College of Arts and Sciences, UT Visual Arts Committee, UT Bookstore and Thompson Photo Products.
One overall winner will receive a cash prize of $300 and an enlargement of his or her photo. Two category winners will receive $100 each and an enlargement. Ten honorable mention winners will receive enlargements of their entries.
All winning entries will be put on display in the University Center during April.
Entrants must be amateur photographers and residents of Tennessee or attending school in Tennessee. Each contestant may enter a maximum of five original prints. Digital files are not eligible.
An entry form must be filled out for each photo. The deadline to enter is March 1.
