The advancement and public affairs committee of the University of Tennessee Board of Trustees will meet April 21 in Knoxville.

The meeting is scheduled for noon EDT in the observatory of the University Club, 2704 Kingston Pike.

Agenda items include a review of on-going communications initiatives with new vice president for public and governmental relations Hank Dye, and development of a strategic communications plan.

Committee members are: Susan Willliams, chair, of Knoxville; Jim Haslam, Knoxville; Waymon Hickman, Columbia; Lynn Johnson, Kingsport; Clayton McWhorter, Nashville; and Bucky Wolford, Chattanooga.

Ex officio members: Don Stansberry, vice chairman of the board, of Huntsville; and UT president John Petersen.
