Noted Environmental Attorney to Speak at UT Law College
KNOXVILLE – One of the nation’s leading environmental attorneys will speak at the UT College of Law on Friday, March 10.
Richard Ayres will speak on “The Future of Environmental Policy” at 12:20 p.m. in Room 132. Admission is free, and the public is invited.
Ayres, founder of the Ayres Law Group in Washington, D.C., participated in many of the Environmental Protection Agency’s rulemaking proceedings under the Clean Air Act of 1971 and has handled nearly three dozen cases in federal courts involving the interpretation and enforcement of the Clean Air Act and the National Environmental Policy Act.
