Einstein Bros. Bagels will open Monday, Sept. 10, in the Art and Architecture building.

Einstein Bros. Bagels replaces the A&A Café and convenience store, which closed this summer for construction of the new dining offering.

The new eatery will be open from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday.

Einstein Bros. Bagels will feature delicious hot and cold sandwiches, savory soups, crisp salads, their famous bagels with “shmears,” sweet pastries, coffee, juice and fountain drinks.

Other Dining News

The new McAlister’s Deli in the Café at the Arena in Thompson-Boling Arena will open four hours prior to kickoff on football game days.

The McAlister’s Deli opened for business in August, and a grand opening event will be from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 17.

WUTK will be broadcasting live from the arena, and there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony plus T-shirt and other giveaways.
